This book is based on our understanding of the lectures of Sri Bannanje Govindacharya. This has not been approved, authorized or read by Sri Bannanje Govindacharya. For greater authenticity, please listen to his lectures directly. Bhagawath Gita [Gita] contains many deep meanings and secrets. This is an attempt to show how Gita can be relevant to the present-day life. Gita is not restricted to a particular country, place, community, religion, caste or even to category of humankind. It contains universal truth and meant for all. This is a mirror to the humans as to how they should accept the life and live through it, pleasing the Lord. Mahabharatha by Lord Vyasa, is not 5,500 years old a generic story about a great war between two cousins. Rather is the living in our minds even today with the conflicts and decisions one need to make on a daily basis. Mahabharatha is also the practical reflection of the what Gita tells us. This book is an effort to capture the many hundreds of hours of lectures by Sri Bannanje Govindacharya lectures on Gita. The idea being trying to capture for the benefit of those, who might wish to see the key points in writing. This book in no way does justice to the lectures of Sri Bannanje Govindacharya.
